Weekly PRRS Racking Inspection Checklist (UK)
This is the checklist your PRRS should be running through every week, recorded in writing. Print it, sign it, file it for at least 3 years.
Uprights & frames
Visible bowing, twisting or impact damage to any upright section.
Damage to bracing — bent, missing or sheared diagonal/horizontal braces.
Baseplate condition — cracks, missing fixings, lifting from the floor.
Frame protectors and column guards in place and undamaged.
Beams & connectors
Beam deflection under load — must return to flat when unloaded.
All safety pins / locking clips fitted to every beam end.
No twisted, bent or missing beam end connectors.
Loading & general
Pallets in good condition, correctly placed, not overhanging.
Loads do not exceed the load notice values.
Aisles clear, lighting working, floor in good condition.
Load notices in place, legible and correct for current configuration.
