Load Notices — The Sign That Keeps You Compliant
Load notices are the small signs on every run of racking that tell operators the maximum load per beam level and per bay. They are required by EN 15635 and are one of the first things an HSE inspector looks for.
What must a load notice show?
Manufacturer / supplier name.
Maximum unit (pallet) load.
Maximum bay load.
Beam level configuration (height of each level).
Date of installation or most recent reconfiguration.
When must a load notice be re-issued?
Whenever beam levels are added, removed or repositioned. The notice must always reflect the current physical configuration — not the as-installed one.
